Recent change — Since 22 August 2025, ordinary visas for Belgian passports are applied for at the Niger representations in Geneva, Ankara or Moscow.

Documents and procedures.
Passport
- — • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your trip.
- — • It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
Photocopy of the main page of the passport
- — • Please make a photocopy of the two main pages of your passport.
Two identity photos
- — • They must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 35x45mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).
- — • You can check whether your photos meet the required criteria using the following document: Photo requirements
Two visa application forms

- — Below are the different steps to fill in the form (to print, fill in, date and sign in black ink).
- — Start by downloading and printing the visa application form using the following link: Niger Form
- — Fill in your personal information by noting your surname, your first name, your nationality, your profession, your address, your e-mail address and your telephone number.
- — Then, under the heading «L’intéressé a-t-il déjà visité le Niger», indicate whether you have already visited Niger.
- — State your means of transport for your trip to Niger.
- — State your purpose of travel to Niger (Tourism).
- — Under the section «Adresse au Niger», write the address of your hotel in Niger.
- — Then write the number, the date of issue and the expiry date of your passport.
- — Indicate the date of arrival in Niger and the duration of your stay, as well as the number of entries requested.
- — State the details of a guarantor in Niger.
- — Sign and date your application form.
Hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your host
- — • Print a copy of your accommodation reservation or ask your host to write a letter explaining that you plan to stay with them.
The return flight reservation
- — • Print a copy of your return flight reservation.
- — • The details of all flights are required when it concerns an itinerary (transit, etc.)
Yellow fever vaccination certificate
- — • If you are not up to date with your vaccinations (vaccination booklet), check with your treating doctor, an approved centre or a hospital. Note that there is a travel clinic (the Travel and Vaccine Clinic of the CHU Saint-Pierre in Brussels) where you can get vaccinated without an appointment.

- — • This letter must be written on the company's headed paper.
- — • State the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number, as well as the name and address of the company.
- — • Check that the arrival and departure date of the visited country is also stated and specify the desired visa duration and the number of entries.
- — • It is important to state that the company guarantees all costs related to the trip, with a company stamp and a signature.

Letter of invitation
- — This letter must be written by a company or organisation officially registered in Niger.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the destination country is also mentioned, as well as the desired duration of the visa and the number of entries.
- — It is necessary to explain the purpose of the journey as well as to specify the places the traveller will visit.
- — You must also state that the company vouches for all costs related to the stay in Niger.
- — The letter must be signed and have an official company stamp.
