Passport
- — Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of your visa application.
- — It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
An identity photo
- — These must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 35x45mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).

An official visa application form

- — Print the form. Fill in the form in black ink. Be precise.
- — Complete the first part by noting your surname, your first names, your current nationality, your nationality of origin, your profession, place, country and date of birth, your permanent residence and your current address.
- — Then indicate the type, number, place and date of issue and the expiry date of your passport.
- — Indicate the date of entry into Uganda.
- — State the type of visa requested, the duration of stay and the purpose of the trip.
- — Write the details of a contact person in Uganda.
- — Print, sign and date your application form in black ink.
The return flight reservation
- — Print a copy of your return flight reservation.
- — The details of all flights are required when it concerns an itinerary (transit, etc.)
Yellow fever vaccination certificate
- — If you are not up to date with your vaccinations (vaccination booklet), inquire with your treating doctor, an approved centre or a hospital. Be aware that there is a travel clinic (the Travel and Vaccine Clinic of the CHU Saint-Pierre in Bruxelles) where it is possible to get your vaccine without an appointment.

Cover letter from the applicant's employer
- — This letter must be written on the company's letterhead.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number, as well as the name and address of the company.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the visited country is also mentioned and specify the desired duration of the visa as well as the number of entries.
- — It is important to indicate that the company vouches for all costs related to the journey, with a company stamp and a signature.

Letter of invitation
- — This letter must be written by a company or organisation officially registered in Uganda.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the destination country is also mentioned, as well as the desired duration of the visa and the number of entries.
- — It is necessary to explain the purpose of the journey as well as to specify the places the traveller will visit.
- — You must also state that the company vouches for all costs related to the stay in Uganda.
- — The letter must be signed and have an official company stamp.
