Passport
  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of your visa application.
  • It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
Two identity photos
  • These must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 35x45mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).
  • You can check whether your photos meet the required standards using the following document: Photo requirements
Two official visa application forms (in black ink)

  • Below are the different steps to fill in the form (to print, date and sign in black ink).
  • Start by downloading and printing two copies of the visa application form using the following link: Algeria Form
  • Fill in the form in capital letters. Be precise.
  • Carefully complete the first part by noting your surname, first name, date and place of birth, family situation, nationality and personal address.
  • If you are married, write the surname, first name, date and place of birth of your spouse.
  • If you have children, write the surnames, first names, dates and places of birth and the nationalities of your children.
  • Then, indicate whether you have an ordinary passport and note the number of your passport, the date of issue and the expiry date.
  • State the desired number of entries and the dates of your stay in Algeria.
  • State your profession and fill in the contact details of your employer.
  • In case of transit, write the final country of destination and indicate whether you have a visa for that country.
  • Then carefully complete the section concerning your stay by noting the address, reason and duration of your stay in Algérie.
  • If you have already obtained an entry visa for Algérie, write the details of your previous visas and the address of your last stay.
  • Sign and date your form.
Photocopy of the identity card
  • Make sure to make a double-sided photocopy of your identity card.
  • Applicants who do not hold a Belgian, Dutch or Luxembourg passport must present a copy of their residence card.
A photocopy of the main page of the passport
  • • Please make a colour photocopy of the main page of your passport. • Applicants who do not hold a Belgian passport must also submit a double-sided colour copy of their identity card and their residence card in Belgium (if they have one). • Travisum can take care of printing these documents after receiving the images by email.
A travel insurance certificate
  • Be in the traveller's name. (Insurance in a company's name will not be accepted)
  • Specify that the traveller's insurance is also valid in Algérie or worldwide.
  • State the duration of the applicant's stay in Algeria as well as the period of validity of the insurance. (The insurance must cover the entire validity of the requested visa) the insurance must cover at least the entire validity of the visa, but may cover more.
  • Please request one declaration per person.
  • State the policy number
  • Be signed by the insurer.
