Passport
- — Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of your visa application.
- — It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
Two identity photos
- — These must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 35x45mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).

A digital photo
- — You must provide a digital photo in JPEG format (350 x 450 pixels) on a USB stick or CD-ROM with the name of the applicant. (You must submit the USB stick/CD with the rest of the documents) OR a sheet of paper with the photos glued on and the names of the applicants written below.
An E-visa application form

- — Below are the various steps to complete the form.
- — Fill in the online form using the following link Formulaire en ligne pour la Birmanie.
- — State the type of visa requested in the drop-down menu (tourism)
- — Under the heading «Nationality», indicate your nationality and under the heading «Port Of Entry», select the place of first entry into Burma from the drop-down menu.
- — Click on «Continue».
- — Then click on «I agree».
- — Carefully complete the first part by noting your personal information, including your surname, nationality, gender, date and place of birth, profession, your current address in Belgique, the address of your hotel in Birmanie, your e-mail address and telephone number.
- — Write your passport information, including the passport number, the place and date of issue and the expiry date.
- — If you have chosen an organised stay in Birmanie, fill in the information of your travel agency.
- — Click on «Continue».
- — Attach your identity photo and check your application form.
- — Print, sign and date your application form in black ink.
Copy of the flight tickets
- — • Print a copy of your return flight reservation.
- — • The details of all flights are required when it concerns an itinerary (transit, etc.)
Photocopy of the main page of the passport
- — • Please make a colour photocopy of the main page of your passport.
- — • Applicants who do not hold a Belgian passport must also submit a double-sided colour copy of their identity card and their residence card in Belgium (if they have one).
- — • Travisum can take care of printing these documents after receiving them by email.

- — • This must certify that all services related to this trip have been paid in full.

Cover letter from the applicant's employer
- — This letter must be written on the company's letterhead.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number, as well as the name and address of the company.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the visited country is also mentioned and specify the desired duration of the visa as well as the number of entries.
- — It is important to indicate that the company vouches for all costs related to the journey, with a company stamp and a signature.

Letter of invitation
- — This letter must be written by a company or organisation officially registered in Burma.
- — This must be addressed to the consulate of Burma.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the destination country is also mentioned, as well as the desired duration of the visa and the number of entries.
- — It is necessary to explain the purpose of the journey as well as to specify the places the traveller will visit.
- — You must also state that the company vouches for all costs related to the stay in Birmanie.
- — The letter must be signed and have an official company stamp.
