Documents and procedures.
Passport
- — Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of your visa application.
- — It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
An identity photo
- — These must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 35x45mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).

An official visa application form

- — Below are the different steps to fill in the form (to print, date and sign in black ink).
- — Start by downloading and printing two copies of the visa application form using the following link: Angola Form
- — Indicate the purpose of your stay (tourism).
- — Then write your full name, marital status, gender, date and place of birth and nationality.
- — Write the number, place and date of issue and expiry date of your passport.
- — Write your occupation and position. Indicate the name, address, fax number, telephone number and email address of your employer.
- — State the names and nationalities of your parents.
- — Then, fill in the purpose of the journey (Tourism) and the details of your hotel.
- — Write the date of your last entry into Angola and the border post used.
- — If there are minor children registered in your passport who will benefit from the visa, write their names, dates of birth and degrees of kinship under the heading «Enfants mineurs inscrits dans le passeport et qui bénéficieront du visa».
- — Under the heading ‘À compléter par le demandeur d’un visa de tourisme’ and under the heading «Nom de la personne ou de l’organisme qui demande le visa», write your full name.
- — Then fill in the type of visit, the activity to be carried out and the dates and places of your stay.
- — Print and sign your application form in black ink.
A photocopy of the main page of the passport
- — Please make a colour photocopy of the main page of your passport.
- — Travisum can take care of printing these documents after receiving the images by email.
A copy of the identity card
- — Please provide a colour copy, front and back, of your Belgian identity card.
- — Applicants who do not hold a Belgian passport must also present a color copy of both sides of their identity card and their residence card in Belgium (if they hold one).
A flight reservation
- — Print a copy of your return flight reservation.
- — The details of all flights are required when it concerns an itinerary (transit, etc.)
A hotel booking confirmation
- — Print a copy of your accommodation reservation.
- — It is important that your name and the dates of stay are stated on the reservation.
A travel insurance certificate covering the stay and translated into Portuguese (certified)
- — Be in the traveller's name. (Insurance in a company's name will not be accepted)
- — Specify that the traveller's insurance is also valid in Angola or worldwide.
- — State the duration of the applicant's stay in Angola as well as the period of validity of the insurance. (The insurance must cover the entire validity of the requested visa) the insurance must cover at least the entire validity of the visa, but may cover more.
- — Please request one declaration per person.
- — State the policy number
- — Be signed by the insurer.
Proof of sufficient means
- — Provide proof of sufficient means for the stay (200 US$ / day) in the form of a solvency statement from your bank or a bank statement.
A copy of the visas already obtained for Angola
- — If you have travelled to Angola before, you must make colour photocopies of all your previous visas.
- — If the old visa does not appear in the current passport, you must present the old passport containing the old visa. Where applicable, a copy of the old visa and of the information page of the old passport may be provided.
A vaccination booklet
- — Against yellow fever (original + one copy).
A certificate of residence from the municipality translated into Portuguese (certified)

An invitation legalised by the municipality and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- — From the host, family or friend, confirming that they will receive you at their home + a copy of their identity card. The duration and reason for the stay must also be indicated.

- — This must be addressed to the consulate for Angola.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number.
