Passport
  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of your visa application.
  • It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
Two identity photos
  • These must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 50x50mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).

  • Under the heading «Nationality», indicate your nationality in the drop-down menu.
  • Under the section «Date of birth», write your date of birth.

  • Check your email address.
  • Under the section «Expected Date of Arrival», write the expected date of your first entry into India.

  • Under the heading «Purpose», indicate whether you are travelling to India in a group «Group Tourist», otherwise select «Individual Tourist».
  • Click on «Continue».
  • Under the heading «Surname (as shown in your Passport)», write your name as in your passport.
  • Under the section «Given Name/s (Complete as in Passport)», write your first name as shown in your passport.
  • If you have a name in use or a birth name, under the heading «Have you ever changed your name?», tick «yes», and write your name in use or birth name(s).
  • Under the section «Gender», indicate your sex.
  • Under the section «Date of Birth», write your date of birth.
  • Under the heading «Place of birth», write your place of birth.
  • Under the section «Country of birth», select your country of birth in the drop-down menu.
  • Under the section «Citizenship/National Id No.», write the number of your identity card.
  • State your religion in the drop-down menu under the heading «Religion».
  • Under the heading «Visible identification marks», write visible identification marks.

  • Under the section «Father’s Details», indicate the name, nationality, previous nationality, place and date of birth of your father.
  • Under the heading «Mother’s Details», indicate the name, nationality, previous nationality, place and date of birth of your mother.
  • Under the section «Applicant’s Marital Status», select your marital status in the drop-down menu.
  • If you are married, write the personal information of your spouse.
  • If your grandparents had Pakistani nationality, tick «Yes» under the heading «Were your Grandfather/ Grandmother (paternal/maternal) Pakistan Nationals or Belong to Pakistan held area.». Otherwise, tick «No».
  • Under the heading «Present Occupation», select your occupation from the drop-down menu.
  • Under the section «Employer Name/business», write the name of your employer.
  • Under the section «Désignation», write your position.
  • Under the section «Address», write your employer's address.
  • Under the heading «Phone», write your employer's phone number.
  • If you are retired, write your home address and telephone number.
  • Under the heading «Past Occupation, if any», write your previous occupation.
  • If you have ever worked with the police or the army, write the details of this occupation, tick «Yes» under the heading «Are/were you in a Military/Semi-Military/Police/Security. Organization?». Otherwise, tick «No».
  • Click on «Save and Continue».
  • Under the heading «Places likely to be visited», write the places you will visit in India.
  • Under the section «Duration of Visa (In Month)», indicate the duration (in months) of your requested visa.
  • Under the heading «No. of Entries», write the number of entries of your visa.
  • Under the heading «Port of Arrival in India», write the place of your first entry into India.
  • Under the section «Expected Port of Exit from India», write the place in India where you will depart.
  • If you have ever travelled to Inde, tick «Yes» under the heading «Have you ever visited India before?». Under the heading «Address», write the address of your last stay in Inde. Under the heading «Cities previously visited in India», indicate the cities in Inde where you have already stayed. Under the heading «Last Indian Visa No/Currently valid Indian Visa No.», write the number of your last Visa for Inde. Under the heading «Type of Visa», select the type of your last visa for Inde from the drop-down menu. Under the heading «Place of Issue», write the date of issue and under the heading «Date of Issue», write the place of issue.
  • If you have already been refused permission to stay in Inde, tick «Yes» under the heading «Has permission to visit or to extend stay in India previously been refused?». Otherwise, tick «No». In the event of a positive answer, write the details.
  • If you have travelled to other countries or territories during the last 10 years, write the details under the heading «Countries Visited in Last 10 years».
  • Under the section «Have you visited SAARC countries (except your own country) during last 3 years?», indicate whether you have visited the SAARC countries during the last 3 years. If your answer is positive, provide the details.
  • Under the heading «Reference», write the information of a reference person in India and a reference person in your native country.
  • Click on «Save and Continue».
  • Under the heading «Upload Photograph», click on «Skip and Continue».
  • Check your form and click on "Verified and Continue".
  • Print, sign and date the application form in black ink.
Identity card or Belgian residence card
  • A photocopy of your identity card or your Belgian resident card, front and back
A photocopy of the main page of the passport
  • Please make a colour photocopy of the main page of your passport.
  • Applicants who do not hold a Belgian passport must also present a color copy of both sides of their identity card and their residence card in Belgium (if they hold one).

Photocopy of previous visas issued for Inde
  • If you have travelled to Inde before, you must make colour photocopies of all your previous visas.
  • If the old visa does not appear in the current passport, you must present the old passport containing the old visa. Where applicable, a copy of the old visa and of the information page of the old passport may be provided.

The additional documents to be provided depending on the applicant's situation:
  • Non-Belgians
  • Proof of residence in Belgique for at least 2 years
  • Persons of Indian origin
  • Persons of Indian origin who wish to travel to India and who are not in possession of PIO / OCI cards may apply for an «Entry Visa» instead of a «tourist» visa. They must attach a certificate stating that the Indian passport has been surrendered to the Embassy of India. The certificate can be obtained from the Embassy of India, 215 Chaussée de Vleurgat, 1050 Brussels between 9:30 and 11:30. The Indian passport must be surrendered to the embassy to cancel it, and for this purpose the Embassy will issue the «surrender certificate». If the applicant surrendered the Indian passport a very long time ago, it is necessary to obtain the «affidavit» declaration stating that the passport has been surrendered/cancelled. Children of parents of Indian origin must have an «affidavit» from the Indian embassy proving that they have never held Indian nationality, even if they were born in Belgium / Luxembourg.
