Recent change — Since the end of 2022, the Togo visa is exclusively online (no more visa in the passport at the embassy).

Passport
- — Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your trip.
- — It must also contain at least 2 blank pages.
A photocopy of the main page of the passport
- — Please make a colour photocopy of the main page of your passport.
Two identity photos
- — It must be in colour, taken against a plain light background, in 35x45mm format and printed on photo paper (as for your identity card or passport).

Visa application form

- — Start by downloading and printing the visa application form using the following link: Form for Togo.
- — Fill in the form in capital letters. Be precise.
- — State your personal information: write your surname, first name, date and place of birth, sex, nationality of origin, current nationality, marital status and profession.
- — State the type of travel document.
- — Write the number, date of issue, expiry date and issuing authority of your passport.
- — Indicate the purpose of the journey, the duration of the stay, the number of entries and the date of arrival in Togo.
- — Write the details of a person to contact in an emergency.
- — State whether you have visited Togo. In case of a positive answer, provide the details of your last stay in Togo.
- — State whether you intend to settle in Togo.
- — State whether you undertake to leave the territory of the Togolese Republic upon expiry of the visa that may be granted to you.
- — Sign and date your application form.
Hotel reservation
- — Print a copy of your accommodation reservation.
- — Please note: Applicants who do not hold a Belgian, Dutch or Luxembourg passport must also present a residence card.

Cover letter from the applicant's employer
- — This letter must be written on the company's letterhead.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number, as well as the name and address of the company.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the visited country is also mentioned and specify the desired duration of the visa as well as the number of entries.
- — It is important to indicate that the company vouches for all costs related to the journey, with a company stamp and a signature.

Letter of invitation
- — This letter must be written by a company or organisation officially registered in Togo.
- — You must state the traveller's name, date of birth and passport number.
- — Check that the arrival and departure date of the destination country is also mentioned, as well as the desired duration of the visa and the number of entries.
- — It is necessary to explain the purpose of the journey as well as to specify the places the traveller will visit.
- — You must also state that the company vouches for all costs related to the stay in Togo.
- — The letter must be signed and have an official company stamp.
